Personal Service - backed by an expert Team
A key thing to emphasise is that Rupert will deal personally with all the day to day running of your case. Unlike other firms you will not find that, following instruction, your case is handed over to a junior member of staff. Moreover Rupert has an arrangement with a specialist family lawyer locally to ensure your case is expertly handled at any times when he is away.
At the same time Rupert is backed by a team of expert specialist Family Law Barristers as well as financial consultants and other experts. In this way he is able to draw on a range of expertise as required depending on the specific requirements and complexity of your case.
Flexible access - modern communication
Rupert runs a progressive practice and appreciates that good, clear, regular communication often lies at the heart of a successful case. With this in mind he is able to use Skype, Facetime, SMS and other means of communication in addition to email, phone and face to face meetings.
Rupert also appreciates that people have busy working lives and cannot always meet in normal office hours. With this in mind he aims to be as accessible and flexible as possible and can normally be contacted outside normal office hours as well as weekends. This is particularly the case with regards to emergency situations such as domestic abuse, child protection or asset protection.
The Wider Context
Rupert strongly believes that in certain circumstances other alternatives may be appropriate to help resolve issues arising on the breakdown of a relationship. He works closely with a team of counsellors and therapists, when it is appropriate and in his client's interests to do so, to see if there are alternatives to divorce or separation available to the couple. Rupert takes the time to consider the right approach for each of his clients taking all the relevant circumstances and personalities into account.
